Meet Brad Bevilacqua
The more that I struggle, the more God has become increasingly evident in my life. Three months after the Covid pandemic hit, my wife and I were both laid off. This was incredibly devastating to our pride and my ego. With this newfound "freedom" we decided to pursue more meaningful careers. We began working on creating her marketing business and I avidly pursued a career in a closed ecosystem pertaining to software. It was something that I wanted so badly and eventually was given the opportunity. In order to do this job, I was required to pass a difficult two-week crash course. I ended up failing the first week but completing the second. Due to this failure, my offer was rescinded.
Unfortunately, we didn't have the luxury of going back to our "normal" lives. In anticipation of my new job, out of state, we sold our house. This just so happened to be at the start of the housing craze that's swept the nation. Since then, we have relocated within our own town, continued to grow my wife's business, and I began working part-time, joining the millions of Americans that are underemployed. The extensive journey to reenter the corporate workforce has truly been a humbling experience. My faith encourages me that God has me exactly where I’m supposed to be according to his timeline. Because of these trials, God has granted me a new perspective and allowed me to relate to others experiencing hardships.
