Meet Diane Earle
Growing up in the Houston area, I was fortunate to have parents who took us to a liturgical church when I was a small child. I learned about the love of God and His goodness. However, it was at an Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp that my “Fire and Brimstone” Baptist coach made sure we all heard the gospel of Christ, and that is when I finally understood I could have a personal relationship with Jesus, not based on my good deeds, but based on what He had already done for me.
I was also fortunate to have met and married a man who loves the Lord and is a wonderful example of Christ to our children. If you know my husband, Tom, then you know! We moved to the Woodlands area in 1995 when our girls were babies. After visiting a few local churches, we entered Faith Community Church (aka Faith Bible Church) and never looked back.
We have learned from the best teaching pastors, guest speakers, ministry leaders, Sunday school teachers, Awana leaders, and on and on.... you could have ever dreamed of. We raised our children in The Woodlands, and they grew up in the Sunday School programs and Student ministries at Faith Bible Church. As teenagers, they even helped teach the preschool Sunday school class.
Tom and I realize how blessed we have been to be part of the church Family at Faith Bible Church. The people that have shaped our lives the most, since 1990 to present day, have at one time or another entered the doors at 5505 Research Forest. It can be very easy to sit back and soak up the teaching here, but we are constantly challenged to not just be hearers of the Word, but doers. While we fall short, we are thankful for the encouragement from others, especially those who continue to serve and love like Christ to the corners of the globe and the end of the pews at Faith Bible!
God Bless Faith Bible Church, and Go Astros!
