Faith Bible Church is a dynamic, growing church located in The Woodlands, Texas. We are an evangelical church recognized for our focus on a Grace-based theology which emphasizes that salvation is through grace by faith in Christ alone. FAQs

Who is the internship for?
The Faith Bible Church Internship is designed for post-high school, or undergraduate college-age students who want to explore the possibility of church ministry. 
When does the internship start?
The summer internships start mid- May through mid-August. We also have limited internship opportunities in the Spring and Fall.  
Where will interns live?
We work with each Intern to identify affordable housing in close proximity to the Intern’s site location. Many times, this housing is through Faith Bible Church families. 
What is the application/interview process?
  1. Complete the online application. 
  2. Phone interview with Faith Bible Church staff. 
  3. Zoom or in-person interview with Faith Bible Church staff. 
  4. Additional interviews by phone if needed.  
  5. Faith Bible Church staff will reach out whether the applicant is accepted or not. 
What is not provided by Faith Bible?
Interns are expected to provide their own transportation, computer, and health insurance, as Faith Bible Church does not offer health insurance to Interns. 

Women's Ministry
Spring Intern

Summer 2025: January 12- April19

The Women's Ministry intern will work with the Women's Pastor. She will participate in all Women's Ministry studies and events as well as shadow various leaders of women's programs. She will attend all WM Leadership Team meetings, all Bible studies, Bible study leaders’ meetings and all other events as directed by the Women's Pastor.

Men's Ministry
Spring Intern

Spring 2026: January 12- April 19

The Men's Ministry intern will work directly with the Men's Discipleship Director. He will participate in all Men's Ministry studies and events. He will attend all Men's Leadership Team meetings, all Men's studies, and all other events as directed by the Men's Discipleship Director.

Faith Kids
Summer Intern

Summer 2026: May 18- August 9

The Faith Kids Summer Intern will work in coordination with the Faith Kids team and will report to the Children's Pastor. The Faith Kids Ministry team will function with a unified vision, clear understanding of specified responsibilities, and unified front to accomplish ministry tasks. The Summer Intern will work with kids PreK - 6th.  

What aspects of the project would you consider a success?

"I would consider my biggest success to be how well the curriculum and activities aligned with the needs of the kids, both developmentally and spiritually. I consider a lot of the projects to be successful in terms of teamwork, communicating and collaborating with the whole Faith Kids team to ensure things were planned and executed as smoothly as possible." -Maddison Stafford, Kids Intern

Faith Students
Summer Intern

Summer 2026: May 18- August 9

The Faith Students Summer Intern will work alongside the Student Team. This Student Ministry team will function with a clear vision, complete understanding of specified responsibilities, and unified front to accomplish ministry tasks. The Summer Intern will work with students grades 7-12. 

What lessons did you learn as in intern?

"I learned a lot from planning so many events in how to do it effectively and thoroughly. I also learned a lot about working in a team as well as leading one. Not only in the student ministry, but also across all the Faith Bible Staff, there were many moments where I was Impressed by how people on staff handled situations. Young Adult
Summer Intern

Summer 2026: May 18- August 9

The Faith Young Adults Intern will work alongside the young adult lead team. This team works together to equip, empower and disciple young adults. The age range starts with 18-year-old high school graduates up to about 30 years old.
