Meet Stacy Andress

My name is Stacy, and I'm a wife and mother of two wonderful boys. We've been members of Faith Bible for four years now. I was baptized as a baby and raised in a Christian household, but the Holy Spirit was not active in my life until middle school. A mentor once told me that God will place baptism on your heart and when I became an adult, I grew curious about getting baptized again.

One Saturday night years later, I had a dream I got baptized. I woke up thinking, this must be God's calling! On the way to Faith Bible that morning, I told my husband I should sign up for baptisms the next time the church offers them. In the service that day, they announced an upcoming baptism Sunday! I couldn’t believe it, and we shared shocked glances at God’s bold timing.

After reviewing my own baby book, I saw I was baptized as a baby that same day as well, 32 years prior. I knew this was God’s calling for my life and it encourages me to stay obedient to his calling. It was a wonderful ceremony, and I still think about how faithful God is to provide Himself so evidently in my life.
