Meet Natalie Hegg
It’s been quite a journey to get to this point, to share my story to all of you and declare my love for Jesus. I was born in Tulsa, OK and lived there up until college. Growing up, I was active in the FCA, attended church regularly with my friends, read the Bible, and had a very good relationship with God.
And then for the last 20 years, from college to 38, I took a break from God. I don’t have any reasons outside of just “life.” I got married right out of college to a wonderful man. We both have had successful careers, two wonderful kids, and a great life overall…we just never talked about Jesus.
And then about six months ago, I had my breakthrough. It was when I finally started PRAYING again, and I started seeing all the signs. Talking to God brought me an overwhelming peace.
Before praying, I had felt like something was missing in my life, but I couldn’t pinpoint it. Well, it was Jesus.
Now that Jesus is in my life, I feel like I can do anything, I can handle anything. Honestly, I have stopped driving my husband crazy since I have someone to talk to and spend time with (not just my husband).
I now see God reflected in my kids, my friends, and in my personal growth. I’m just excited to be a better mom, wife, and daughter for Jesus and share the Word going forward.
I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and my recent baptism at Faith Bible was my way of sharing this testimony with the world.
